From Bath to Laundry Room

A little over two years ago we bought our house. Pretty soon we realized that the bathroom can not remain as it is, because it was a passage room. We decided to create a new bathroom and remodel the old one as laundry room. When we first went in, the room looked like this:

Uuuuaaaah awful.

We removed the sanitary facilities, put in a new floor and a few cabinets, as well the washing machine and the dryer and tata, it looks like this:

Aaah much better. Next step is modifying the built-in closet. It has a hideous light-brown. Hope to show you in January.

Thanks for stopping by.

Baby Socks

One of my colleagues is having her first son late in January. Because it is the cold season, I decided to knit a pair of baby socks for his welcome. They will keep the little feet warm and keep the onesies in place. Here's what they came out:

Hope she'll like it.

Thank you for stopping by.

All nuts

It's tradition  to make candy almonds while the christmas season. My mother taught me years ago. But this year I wanted to try something new. I tried to crystallize hazelnuts, walnuts and peanuts, too. This is the result:

There is nothing other to say than: Y U M M Y!!!

Early Christmas present for the Kittens

The other day a big package arrived. This is what we found inside:

Then we had a fun time to assemble it all. But in the end we win the battle and the cats were happy.

So I had to say: Merry Christmas, Kittens!
